“I may be crazy, but it seems like they tried to mix a good ol' country sing-along with a club hit. Like it!”

“This tribute to Patricia Highsmith sounds like the perfect soundtrack to her somewhat demented stories; all sinister and sexy and super-secret-spy like.”

“This one is not built from such obvious sources as some of Matmos' other albums. This 18 minute track is great coding music, upbeat and abstract with sounds best discovered by listening through headphones. Plus, what a bargain!”

Track: Latex ( $0.35 )
Album: Quasi-Objects
Artist: Matmos
“Starts off with a sorta tribal beat that fades out to make way for beats and melodies constructed from balloons and other latex objects (I suspect). Who knows exactly what they used, but it is a fascinating mixture of sounds that are almost recognizable thrown together to make song. Love it.”

“Each of Matmos' albums has a theme and is based around found sounds put together to make some interesting electronic music. This album is constructed from sounds of plastic surgery. It may seem gross, but it is brilliant and very listenable; not a gimmick at all.”
