Dancehall Singer Sean Wayne (Artist formerly known as XO) began scoring his singles and Dub plates in Jamaica starting in 1996, and has since then attracted American attention with his re-appearance on the Atlanta Reggae Music scene.
The multi-talented Sean Wayne grew up in Clarendon, Jamaica, Although his education was enough to land a prosperous career, dancehall music remained Sean's first love, particularly crafting rhythm tracks. He became a recognized singer after he began writing his own songs, patterning his style largely after Kymani Marley and other international Artist; he also found contacts in several producers on the Atlanta reggae scene, which helped open up business connections.
Sean Wayne released his debut single E.P, "Brown Sugar," with producer Dameon "DX" Gayle in 2006; it proved a significant success, leading to further Jamaican hits like "Hustler". In 1999, Sean started to make inroads to American audiences; he was first commissioned to collaborate with fellow Canadian Rapper and cousin S.C.R.I.P.T on a production for Warriors Musick Ent.
Also , Sean scored another hit with "PARTY," which quickly became his signature tune. Fortunately, Sean released his first album on Squad-51 Entertainment.
