Critics have long hailed Ricky Fitzpatrick as "the next James Taylor", with a voice that's "as smooth as moonshine". But these days, with a turn of the heart back to Christ, Ricky is singing only Christian material and following a higher call. His latest CD, “Beside Me All Along” is a collection of tastefully crafted intimate, unplugged versions of some of the most timeless inspirational hymns and Holiday songs ever written. Fans of artists like Wes King, Bebo Norman, Brandon Heath, Josh Wilson and of course, James Taylor will surely be blessed as they add it to their collections. In addition to his musical work, Ricky still maintains an active schedule with the charitable organization that he helped to found, The Healing Power of Music, along with 300-plus other artist partners such as James Taylor, Neil Young, Amy Grant, Steven Curtis Chapman, Casting Crowns, Switchfoot, Amos Lee, Dolly Parton and more. “"Rowan Tree" - This song is about woman's mourning for her loneliness. Very beautiful Russian folk song. And with voice of MarinaV its sounds awesome!!!!! Some translation in english: Rowan Tree (feminine gender in Russian) is mourning for Oak-tree(male gender in Russian) who is standing on the other riverside. And Rowan Tree cant go over the river. It's a destiny to sway alone and lonely for all her life...”
