“What starts out sounding like a simple anthem for those of us looking for something more turns into a nostalgic, upbeat powerhouse with impeccable rhythms. Makes me restless, but in a good way :)”

“A wonderful blend of old school and new school folk, complete with Simon and Garfunkel-esque vocal harmonies and gritty rhythms.”

“If it weren't for the lyrics, I'd say this would be the perfect song to fall asleep to: the vocals are absolutely hypnotic. But the words are intense!”

“Some fabulously smart, albeit depressing, lyrics. A song true to the heart of a hopeless romantic.”

“Until now, I'd forgotten how beautiful is when music, not singers, lead songs. Raw, unforgiving, beautiful rock. ”

“It never ceases to amaze me how brilliant this group is. I love the light, beautiful guitars, and the thoughtful lyrics that contribute to this (and all of their other) songs, and I just imagine driving down a country road somewhere with this playing on the stereo. They're amazing.”

“This song is amazing. I'd never heard GY!BE before, although I'd heard a million references, so needless to say I was excited to take a listen. GY!BE is a phenomenal group of musicians who have a talent for creating innovating, beautiful and touching music. The poetic monologue at the beginning is breathtaking in itself, and the whole piece is so thought-provoking. When the violins wail, you feel their pain. The movements within the song are each substantial in their own right, and when combined, the result is a powerful, moving piece. I could listen to this song all day.”

“More than a decade on, Global Underground still knows what's good in progressive house. With Kerri Chandler cooking up the original and Ben Klock on the remix, "Pong" alone will give you a survey of what today's "superstar" DJs are banging out - the rest of the 2-disc album just takes you that much deeper.”

“Breaking out of the decade-old dub techno mold, Yagya has an ear for song structure where his colleagues are content to focus on textures. Too subtle for a dance floor but too dance for a dinner party - this album is one you'll keep coming back to for the quiet moments you have to yourself.”

“This is what your hangover wants to listen to right now.”
