That picture is me getting married in India. I grew up on the Lower East Side and worked in lefty politics and media for many years before settling down doing IT. I've been in a lot of bands these past 13 years-- most recently Ninth Street Mission with my wife Namrata and my best friends Karl and Adam. We do fundraisers for things we believe in. I ran my college radio station (WRMC) way back in the late 90's. As an aging hipster I tend to stay away from the L train whenever possible, unless I'm going to Canarsie. I do this because I find dirty a-symmetrical hipster hairdoos unsettling and dated like disco and hippies. I find the 80's thing really disappointing, and the only thing worse than that are the Upper East Side Frat Bars that were somehow transported to my neighborhood in a terrible Karmic mix-up. But seriously, I try and spend as much time as possible thinking about all the good stuff to do instead of hating on the bad. And when things get really crazy I just ride around on my horse and wave my sword around!
