“From the opening line, "Don't say a word...Shhhhh..." you are captured. Doug has alot to say - in this ablum, THE BLUE, he takes you on a journey through his life - the ups and the downs of discovering his way. You will find many similarities in his life and yours through his music.
SCARECROW is a dark mystical memory of a lost relationship - what type of relationship is up to the listener to interpret. Baron's songs can be interpreted in very personal ways, which is what makes his music and songwriting so prolific. Get his music here while it's free. I went to iTunes to buy his album, and I have no regrets!”

“I can't believe Doug Baron is not a household word yet. This man can write and perform a song like you have never heard before. He is original, meaningful, lyrical, and has so much talent that he hasn't even realized yet. CAN'T GET IT BACK should be a single and it would catapult him onto the large stages of the world.”

“I bought this album on iTunes and actually paid cash money for it! Doug is an awesome singer/songwriter. His songs grab you and hold you. He seems to have gone through similar things in his life, and writes beautiful songs about it that you won't forget after the first listen. A Mix of folk, rock, blues like you won't believe. He is making his own world.”

“This album is a nice Amie Street find. The vocals may immediately made me think of the Indigo Girls.”
