“Quite the talented singer/songwriter. Similar in style to The Bens (Folds, Kweller, Lee). Definitely worth the download. ”

“Refreshing as always. Ben Kweller is truly a talented pianist/guitarist/songwriter. His off-beat vocals give a youthful and energizing feel to all of his work. He is one of the most talented young folk artists out there. ”

“Wow. The music moves along smoothly and quite a bit of depth - adding layers as the song progresses. It's reminiscent of the music orchestrated by Andrew Bird mixed with vocals which call The Decemberists to mind. In fact, this song has the same story-like qualities that are often a part of The Decemberists' oeuvre. ”

“This is a great rendition of Ani Difranco's Grey. Just like the original, it is quite mellow. However, the percussion accentuates the piece and provides interest and depth to the song. Also the vocals are a perfect match to the mood - almost surreal. Beautiful. ”

Artist: Bill Withers
“One of the best openings of any live album ever recorded. Withers and co. are so funky that the audience is clapping the entire time. The icing on the cake: after they've played the song once, Bill introduces the band and plays the song in its entirety for a second time!”
