“The highlight of SJ Tucker's original album, Haphazard - a uniformly awesome disc. I love listening to this album over and over, and this song is my favorite. Visualize the poetry in the lyrics of this song and try to follow the story underneath. It takes a few listens to really get all the details, because so much of the epic journey contained in this vignette is carried in metaphor and visual layers within the words.”

“This is one of my favorite songs. Deeply moving and poetic. When SJ Tucker last played this song in New Orleans, her fire spinning partner set fire to his chest (intentionally) at the very climax of the song while she howled out and held a long, clear, beautiful note with her incredible voice.”
