“Ethereal and catchy, enveloping downtempo. Elsiane has a beautiful voice and isn't afraid to get weird with it.”

“Hauntingly beautiful downtempo track. A Dido + Moby + Sade collaboration would sound just like this.”

“Catchy beat, clever lyrics and this weird electro-pop-rap-indie-buzz vibe that they pull off oh so well. And it's free.”

“Vaguely jazzy, moody, reverbed instrumental guitar music with tons of atmosphere. ”

“Better than I expected it might be. An upbeat piece of melodic electronica. Somewhat reminiscent of Ulrich Schnauss and maybe Mosca in its bright melodic content and up-tempo beat. ”

“N5MD has become one of those labels from which you can buy almost anything, even without hearing it, and still trust it will be good. This song is a wonderful example of why this is the case. A lovely, melodic piece of slow, sad, atmospheric, ambient post-rock music.”

“Can't believe no one's reccomended this before now. This is probably my favorite Lush song. A great piece of catchy shimmering dream pop. I love the chiming guitar melody that opens the song. It sticks in your head and wont get out.”

“The music here matches the title perfectly. A melancholy tinged but cheerful piece of guitar driven ambience that calls to mind shoegaze/ambient artists like Manual or Ulrcih Schnauss. ”

“A great piece of atmospheric electronic music. Not quite pure ambient, it has a muted but steady beat that gives it a sense of life, and a pensive and vaguely melancholy melody that makes me think of clouds blowing across a blue sky at dusk. Should appeal to fans of artists like Northcape or even Selected Ambient Works Vol. 1 era Aphex Twin.”

“Kate York is one of my favorite singer/songwriter discoveries of recent years. This song has a great, memorable chorus and good lyrics. ”

“If Paul Simon got into indie pop and wrote another musical, this would be the best song on the soundtrack. I dig dig it!”

“This has to be one of my favorite Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver songs. It moves right along at a nice steady pace and presents me with the challenge to think of Christ living in me and how my example shows before others.
I especially like the lines - "The King of all Heaven and Earth is living me.", "...Then I get reinforcement 'cause I'm never left alone" and "He bought me with a price now I no longer am my own. My life is His kingdom. My heart is His throne."
Good listening and God bless.”

“Deep, beatless ambience with an orchestral feel. Like a drifting fog of sound. Though I wouldn't call it space music in the typical sense (ie Jonn Serrie), at times it definitely calls to mind the vastness of space. At other times it inclines towards the drones and dissonance that is more typically associated with the kranky records sound. Lovers of serious ambient music or of kranky records in general should definitely check it out. ”

“The concept behind this album is to have different artists each do a track based on one of the ten plagues visited on the land of Egypt in the biblical book of Exodus. The only genuine Brian Eno music available from Amie St. so far (I don't count the remix of Ascent: An Ending), this track begins with some warm, dreamy ambient music overlaid by buzzing sounds that resemble, apropos the name, a swarm of flies. The buzzing is actually muted enough that the music can still be enjoyed. The later half of the song features vocals, though it still maintains a quiet ambient vibe. Worth checking out for Eno fans and lovers of dreamy ambient type music. ”

“Peaceful, warm, melodic ambient music from a guy who has connections to Matt Hillier of Ishq. This track has a gorgeous, almost magical melody, evocative of tiny lights sparkling in the night. It may also appeal to fans of deeper ambient music like Steve Roach and Robert Rich.”
