“What a super, super vocal hook on the chorus. Watching these cats, now.”
James William Roy Rec'd this on Nov 26, 2009:

“Made of 100% Pure Awesome. How these guys navigate from paintpeeling hahdkoa blaze to sweet pop bounciness like this, I dunno if I'll ever know, but they do it, and I love them for it. Really, kids, this one goes BOING BOING BOING in slow motion. Think of it that way, you'll be happy children. ”
James William Roy Rec'd this on Nov 17, 2009:
Street Cred: 850 Rec's: 73
“Yay! More from my favorite vikings. They tear mercilessly into your ears, and leave behind a surprisingly melodic hook for you to remember as the dust settles. "Rewards Repeated Listens," which is okay because you can listen to this song three times in the time it would take to listen to some other more boring song.”
James William Roy Rec'd this on Nov 12, 2009:

“So, you probably figured out that this song's free forever here, right? So you know that I'm not REC'cing this for the money. (It's for the fame, actually.) But how can you not love The Hold Steady? They hit hard and swing heavy, the guitar hooks stick like glue and Finn's lyrics cut to the bone, the bone, and it all goes to show that anyone younger than thirty should stick to playing covers: there's no way that you can write lyrics this good without some years under your belt.”
