“This recording is designed to make your brain produce alpha waves. Since it uses the binaural beats method, which plays a slightly different frequency in each ear, you must wear earphones for it to work. Your brain normally produces alpha waves when you are relaxed. It is slower than beta, which is for focused active thinking, but faster than theta, which is what the brain produces while dreaming, and delta, which is what the brain produces during deep sleep. This recording is useful for listening to while meditating or for just relaxing. Since it may make you drowsy, you should not listen while driving or doing anything else that would be dangerous if you nodded off.”
