“So slickly put together , Lockyear almost borders on pop but ironic, interesting lyrics keep him from being too lightweight. The strings in "Talking Backwards" are well chosen to provide emotive effect”

“I like both the Inhale Mary albums a lot and struggled with which one to recommend. I picked this one because you can hear the technique which sometimes is lost in fondness for distoration - in a good way (see track I Love My Distortion Petal).
Inhale Mary combines a lot of influences, including Grunge, Psychedelic, Hard Rock and Folk, and Blues. It sounds crazy but it really works. ”
