“Oh man, Cash at his best. Hopping rhythms underscore this surprisingly grim tale ("I shot a man in Reno just to watch him die."). I really don't know what else to say, it's Cash - it's The Man in Black.”

“I always thought it was odd that I liked both Folk and Industrial music, so I definitely never thought I'd be able to have my cake and eat it, too. "Aces" has set me on the path. The song, downtempo, down-trodden, and hopeful - rings with the character of an old folk song swallowed in a pool of gently simmering feedback buzzing . Oh, and did I mention the lyrics are above par? Smashing.”

“Very good production values and spindly, elegant female vocals raise this track above the clutter of industrial/goth rock acts. The lyrical quality is also above average. Very calm, melodic. Overall worth the buy.”

“In contrast to "Unravel," the eponymous track of the album, Familiar takes an almost trance-like dub route to the delicate subconscious. Unfortunately, the track does seem predictable when compared to the glitchy electronics of Unravel and Porcelain Girl. Worth the buy nonetheless.”
