My name is David Peter and I’m a musician born in Providence, RI. My father is a musician, and when I was a kid, his band would play in our basement, which helped develop my love of music. Both of my parents gave me a love of music, and its never stopped influencing my life ever since then. I started playing guitar when I was seventeen years old, early influences for me were more in the punk vain, Dead Kennedy’s, Black Flag, grunge band Mudhoney and the Pixies among other bands of that era. Also some of the British bands of the early 90’s like The Stone Roses. As I grew older my musical interests matured, and became interested in more classic rock bands; Beatles, Hendrix and Cream and others. The Beatles especially helped teach me about songwriting, and creating a good solid song. Then Radiohead’s OK Computer came out, it totally changed my view of music, and what a pop song was. Not that I sound anything like Radiohead, but it helped me to look at music at a whole new angle. This led me into looking at some of the progressive rock bands of the early 70’s, such as; Peter Gabriel era Genesis, Yes, King Crimson, and of course, one of the biggest influences on me, Pink Floyd. Like Radiohead, Pink Floyd changed my view of music and what could be done with it. Other huge influences were Mark Kozelek’s bands Red House Painters and Sun Kil Moon and the songwriter Hayden. Which brings me to Bob Dylan and Johnny Cash, specifically their story telling is a great influence. Because of my varied musical taste, this makes my music varied, and many of my songs sound very different from each other. But my love for music still drives me to keep trying newer song styles, and this lends, (I hope) to a more interesting sound. I still reside in Providence with my wife Tanya. “Vocals and beat grab you right from the beginning of the song. Can't wait to see more from this group. ”

“Mellow, laid back track. There's a lot of lyrics going on, so if you're in the mood to pay attention, it's complicated enough to grab interest. At the same time, I could imagine having this going on in the background and just letting the beat carry through me a task with the softness of the lyrics being very calming. ”

“Infectious beat, a little faster than some of the other tracks on the album. Actually the whole album is great reminds me of a Beck-Thievery Corporation-Radiohead mixture. Electronica but laid back at the same time. Very playful and original.”
