anoddmind's RECs (2)

“Featuring happier riffs than what most metal bands (of the same breed) have to offer paired with drumming that always feels in place and not over the top, this band has created a unique sound without going to far from what is expected from metal”
anoddmind Rec'd this on Apr 5, 2008:
Street Cred: 6 Rec's: 2
“Tons of energy! solid guitar with lots of palm-muting with a great technique thats not heard all to often. Drummer's steady use of highhat/crash makes for a great pickup near the outro. The only thing I did not like about this song is the effect used on vocals (filter? distortion? reminds me of Dope,) very well done, thank you for the great music, keep it comming I will buy it.”

“One of the best openings of any live album ever recorded. Withers and co. are so funky that the audience is clapping the entire time. The icing on the cake: after they've played the song once, Bill introduces the band and plays the song in its entirety for a second time!”
