“This EP is a good introduction to the Hackensaw boys and their high energy string band music. Their lineup has changed over the years a little, but their sound has stayed true... start with this track then move onto gospel plow!”

“a traditional old time standard performed with tremendous energy... recommended for anyone who has the smallest smidge of affection for american roots music”

“A great version of a great classic. As an avid Phish fan growing up, i was introduced to this song through bootleg Phish tapes. Later that peak in interest led to studying some of this great jazz in college. OK, i admit it, this tune has some nostalgia for me... but it is a great 9 min version - worth every penny.”

“a fat muddy psychedelic guitar starts this one off and sounds like a slowed down version of wolfmother's "WOMAN". the song evolves from that and heads way more into a 70s sabbath direction... its slow but heavy and i like it.”
