“So Far is a brilliant song from The Orange Peels; this is not what you'd expect originally from a band categorised as "indie rock". The sound is pleasant, noise-free and the singer's voice is clear and melodic. The lyrics are great to listen to and the entire song is simply very enjoyable. Recommended.”

“"Save Me" was the first Aimee Allen song I'd ever heard and I must say that it certainly caught my attention. Amie Street's short preview sounded good enough that I cashed out a pretty recent REC of mine just so I could download the song. I'm glad I did, because it really is a wonderful piece. Allen has a wonderful singing voice and the combination of her voice and the guitar makes a very pleasant sound with plenty of rhythm and catchy melody and lyrics that you'll find yourself either humming or singing afterwards. Recommended.”

“Young Hearts Spark Fire is the first song by Japandroids I've ever listened to, and I must say that it's definitely given off a great full impressions. While it is still noise, it has that distinct pop feel that will mean both music fans with "mainstream" tastes and those who want something a bit more alternative will find something to like. The vocals aren't perhaps the most prominent part of the song, working in harmony with the rest of the song instead of providing a speech counterpoint. The vocals are also not as loud as in most pop music, and don't start until considerably far into the song, but don't think this means they're that low quality. Regardless, give Japandroids a shot; Young Hearts Spark Fire is a fantastic song and the band is certainly promising.”

“It starts off quietly and nicely, and the other instruments break in softly and naturally. The vocals start pretty soon, and while the lyrics are kind of hard to make it, it still sounds very pleasant and relaxing. A nice song to listen to in the evening, but maybe not quite a wake-me-up song for the morning.”
