NoNameRoad
NO NAME ROAD is a five-piece indie jazz rock band hailing from South Jersey.
The idea of No Name Road is simple. A unique blend of independent rock and jazz, the band completely redefines the stereotypical presumptions that often accompany the genre of Jazz Fusion, straying away from what previous bands like Steely Dan and Spyrogyra have defined it to be.
Another unique characteristic that No Name Road prides themselves with is their individual musicianship. Much of the local scene today sees musicianship to be a dirty word; many independent bands have dismissed theory and forward thinking as pretentious, and have accordingly forgotten them altogether in favor of a simpler formula and feeling to their music. No Name Road proudly upholds these all-too-uncommon traditions, while at the same time remaining faithful to the simplicity and feeling that defines the independent movement.

“This album is a nice Amie Street find. The vocals may immediately made me think of the Indigo Girls.”
