In 2005, Levi Kreis released his debut album “One of the Ones” on the heels of his appearance on NBC’s hit reality show The Apprentice with Donald Trump. With a CD premiere exclusively for XM Radio, the world’s introduction to Levi began a firestorm of conversation. Songs from his debut CD have been featured on The Apprentice, Days Of Our Lives, and The Young And The Restless spawning national television appearances and radio rotation. His sophomore CD released in 2006, “The Gospel According To Levi”, garnered more t.v. and film placement along with a music video for his single “We’re Okay” which held the #1 position for nine weeks on Mtv’s Logo network. With nearly 300 appearances in 06’-07’, Levi has had the opportunity to share the stage with Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock, Snoop Dog, Ferrell, Collective Soul, and opened for Cyndi Lauper at Wrigley Field. In 1997, Levi moved to Los Angeles where he unexpectedly discovered his love for acting when he was cast in the National Tour of Rent in the role of “Roger”. He soon realized that his natural musical talents complemented his budding on-screen abilities when cast as one of the musical leads in an independent film called Don’t Let Go. Joining forces with Brad Hawkins (CSI, Charmed), the film was selected as winner of Best Picture at the 3rd annual Westchester Film Festival along with winning the Festival Award Achievement In Filmmaking at the 2002 Stony Brook Film Festival. After completing a few short films, Levi was invited to work with Bill Paxton and Matthew McConaughey in Paxton’s directorial debut “Frailty”. Levi played the role of Adam Meiks, baring the blame for the woes inflicted by his brother, The Gods Hand Killer (McConaughey). With a junior release slated for spring of 08’, Levi has finally come into his own as a soulful piano man, with a sound that is nostalgic of his gospel roots and a presentation that is southern class. “Introducing Levi Kreis” promises to be the most defined chapter in this young singer/songwriters budding career.
