“"Astral Rain" is wonderfully primal. It utilizes the sound of a Native American flute in much the way "Journey to Here" uses a soprano voice. Here, the sound of rain with thunder in the near distance provide the base. Glass or shell wind chimes sound, not the magical metallic chimes as used in "Journey...". The melody moves from melodic to atonal and back while the drumming takes on an urgent and shamanic tone. This CD is a favorite of mine. These two pieces are completely different and it is impossible for a 20 sec. preview to give a real sense of the dramatic arc each takes. If visualization and journeying are part of your practice, this is a wonderful CD to work with. Get it!”

“This is a favorite of mine. If visualization and journeying are part of your practice - this CD is a great one to work with. The ambient and drum tracks are energizing - purposeful. The character of the two pieces is decidedly different. "Journey to Here" features a clear soprano just out of sight, beckoning us to follow while crisp metallic wind chimes and a grounding sound of running water and chirping birds transform into steady drumming and a melodic bass droning. Believe me, no 20 sec. preview can do justice to this album. Just get it!”

“More than a decade on, Global Underground still knows what's good in progressive house. With Kerri Chandler cooking up the original and Ben Klock on the remix, "Pong" alone will give you a survey of what today's "superstar" DJs are banging out - the rest of the 2-disc album just takes you that much deeper.”

“Breaking out of the decade-old dub techno mold, Yagya has an ear for song structure where his colleagues are content to focus on textures. Too subtle for a dance floor but too dance for a dinner party - this album is one you'll keep coming back to for the quiet moments you have to yourself.”

“If the Enterprise, the Millenium Falcon, and the Battlestar Galactica were to get in a fight, this song would win.”
