“'What You Can't Take Away' has much more to say for itself, both lyrically and musically, than many of Breaking Laces' other tracks. The chorus especially has a much edgier feel than their usual strictly-pop sound, and the music drives forward with much more purpose. If you're looking for the rock as opposed to the pop side of Breaking Laces, and for a track in which the band actually get a chance to shine, this song is a good place to start. ”
