I'm a musician living in Brooklyn. I've released a few singles, an EP and an album up here (Paper Valentines and Birthday Girl) and there's a sight more where that came from.

“Yay! More from my favorite vikings. They tear mercilessly into your ears, and leave behind a surprisingly melodic hook for you to remember as the dust settles. "Rewards Repeated Listens," which is okay because you can listen to this song three times in the time it would take to listen to some other more boring song.”

“So, you probably figured out that this song's free forever here, right? So you know that I'm not REC'cing this for the money. (It's for the fame, actually.) But how can you not love The Hold Steady? They hit hard and swing heavy, the guitar hooks stick like glue and Finn's lyrics cut to the bone, the bone, and it all goes to show that anyone younger than thirty should stick to playing covers: there's no way that you can write lyrics this good without some years under your belt.”

“Sweet and catchy, and full of charm - lots of neat instrumental texture throughout without becoming cluttered and obscuring the song. ”

“They could be singing about fluffy little kittens for all I know. But I don't think so. OH MY EFFING... The backup vocals just kicked in. I love these guys. They're wacky.”
