“Incredible song from an underappreciated band. It's a kind of a ballad but with typical Warlocks thundering drums and guitar strumming, droney detached vocals. I've just seen them play live twice in one week - go see them if you can, you won't be sorry! see it here: (there are two versions in account) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I52JwNpc5Sg”

“EPIC monster jam. 14 minutes of blissed out psychedelia. With crashing drums and screaming guitars, the Warlocks are so underappreciated.”

“I missed this song on my 1st pass through this record but I saw them play this live this past weekend and didn't realize how great of a song it is. Shimmering guitars, crashing drums and Bradford Cox's ethereal vocals make it a classic from this great band. Also highly recommend seeing them play live if you are a fan as they are very good!”

“I checked this out since it was DFA records and am not dissapointed. More great disco-funk-tronica from the record label behind LCD Soundsystem and The Juan Maclean. Just a great groove somehow sounds retro and contemporary at the same time.”

Track: One For You (Brancaccio & Aisher Remix)

Album: Fear Of A Silver Planet
Artist: James Holden
“Great track. One of the best DJ's out there and criminally underrated, James Holden somehow finesses each track perfectly. Raises the energy level and sustains it without sounding overblown. You can actually listen to this instead of just dancing. Perfect ear candy. ”

“There are so many good things in this song, most of all the wobbly little riff that starts it out. a LOT like CYHSY's "Skin Of My Yellow Country Teeth"”

Track: You Are The Worst Thing In The World (Sasha Invol2ver Remix)
(
$0.69
)
Album: Invol2ver
Artist: Telefon Tel Aviv
“Sasha is the maestro of electronic music. I hate to even refer to this as "trance" since most of that genre is so routinely mediocre. This track (and the whole album for that matter) is a stellar example of how Sasha's music will take you somewhere else altogether. It flows and ebbs and percolates with smooth, vibrant beats. It rises just to the cusp of a crescendo and stays there. Whether your listening on a treadmill, while driving your car or seeing one of Sasha's face-melting live gigs, this music will elevate. Sasha is a gourmet chef in a sea of hot dog vendors.”

“I stumbled onto this last week and downloaded it on a whim and have been listening to it quite a bit - this is a great song! Unique vocals, charged up power chords and a twangy, piercing (steel?) guitar give it a distinct sound. ”

“Great Track! This is definitely a more accessible Animal Collective record. Danceable and at the same time retaining the signature avante-garde found sounds and fluttering synths Animal Collective is known for. This is the perfect intersection of pop and random experimental noise and a logical progression from some of their more daring noisefests. I think this will finally put Animal Collective on the map for more people to enjoy.”
