Dyckns Has Seen It All Twice BILL DYCKNS has been singing & writing since 1964. DYCKNS wrote a highly acclaimed song of the events of November 22nd, 1963 he titled "Man In Texas" as a high schooler. He was a visible & vibrant supporter of the civil rights movement, performing, along with his own works, the "folk/rock' & gospel songs of the day throughout the local area. After graduation, before college, DYCKNS arrived in New York City's Greenwich Village where he made an effort for larger recognition playing the "Bitter End" & local "basket" clubs in the Bleecker Street area. Attaining great experience DYCKNS headed for college. He formed "The Wakefields & played the the midwest. Leaving college early DYCKNS headed back to New York City, enlisting in the army soon after. Being drafted was not on his agenda. Though DYCKNS did serve 1 year in Viet Nam as a combat photographer & was decorated for his service with the ACM, on his return to the States, as he said, it was a world changed. DYCKNS purchased a new guitar in 1980 but could never grasp the gift he had buried deep within after his return from the war. His First "DEMO" CD "STILL AROUND" features "THE BALLAD OF SUSETTE KELO" which has gained praise. Attorney's for the case are promoting the CD, showing the populist issue it is. Dyckns remains a songwriter of the injustices' to society but also writes songs with amazing wordsmithing & catchy melodies. DYCKNS was stunned by the inspiration relit in him but is enjoying every second of the magic. Favorite Albums

My first album was Elvis Presley's on his release from the army. My FIRST album! (In those days it was like iTunes. 45 RPMs for .69 cents and I bought what I could each Saturday. As to the album? I was shocked, stunned and said to my mum: "He's singing songs like you listen to". I liked mums songs but this was Elvis! I found one track I loved and played it over and over again. "Fever". I was 10 years old and "feeling" Fever and diggin' it! The only song on the album I could relate to as being Elvis. That's not a list of my fave albums but a good story, I believe. Which is better than making a list I can't finish like "fave Artists".

“Like I have said earlier...The title is the song. You don't have to "learn" on this track. From the first note you are gliding the runway then, as a feather, you soar skyward. I have it all. I am a fortunate man.”

“Want to know something about me? I had to purchase this track, after listening to the 30second preview one gets here at Amiestreet (which is fair), and if you listen, you hear little in the way of "hey? where is this going?" That's why I picked it up. I liked the intro so much, having sampled Robert Waddington's other tracks, I felt this was going where I wanted to go. Also, I have to admit, I heard keys. So that had me right there. Now, "Seven", is one more track that grooves the fine threads of your mind. Although the keys are in the back, the track is held tight with two guitars on different tunings. Also a little "jazz/horror movie/cathedral" male vocal "aahs and oohs" towards the end leads you along into Robert Waddington's imagination and you seem to know where you are even though it is mysterious as "that girl/guy you never did talk to" from your past. I still haven't figured out the title "Seven". LOL...That's me.”

“"Goodby Mr Andersen" caught me off guard when the track began with a Jimi Hendrix like lilt wah guitar intro. I thought "where is this going"? Never got out of "wah"-land so I had to purchase it on a certain REC and indeed we do have a groove here! Opening with the Hendrix-like wah guitar, which runs a line throughout the piece it "Mr Andersen" just picks up a groove and voila'...a great listen to meditate, tumble with or dance to develops. Not overblown, the less is more thing worked here...like a charm! A side note to Robert Waddington is I dig his titles. "goodby Mr Andersen"? Is it Goodbye Mr Andersen or "Good" by Mr Andersen? Cool huh? A lead guitar is primary as it picks up from the downbeat and it reminded me of Marc Antoine. Only a little edgier (no pads) than Mr Antoine's music and I really recommend you add this to your library.”

“Loren Gold is just taking me higher with "On Solid Ground". The richest keys, as the album is titled "Keys", I have ever heard in my life with the livliest of craft working them. A deep, sensous, rich sound with what, are like trills throughout most of the tracks, just add to the experience. (I always call it honky tonk piano)And that is Loren Gold's undeniable tribute listening to her work her charm tripping and gliding along that keyboard...An Experience! If Loren Gold titles her own works she titles them well. What you read at the top is what you get after a listen, with a little "kick" added to enhance your particular senses. I would advise not to waste funds trying to pick one then another, finding the best. On "Keys" the entire album is a lock of ...oh , I can't believe this...A lock of Gold!”

“I'm 10 minutes in this almost 40minute RJD2 megamix. Needless to say its dope, but for 0.32cents, ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?!. I feel like I stole music without doing anything wrong. Let the track play on.”
