“Scary Fragile by Butterfly Boucher (album review)..... On the first song, of the first spin of this CD, I had to check the settings on my high end audio system because it sounded as if the sound was emanating from a huge empty room as the reverb was so strong and the vocals so naked sounding. I then pondered whether this was poor recording from an engineering point of view, or if this was the technique intended. As “scary fragile” played through the reverb became addicting as the beautiful vocals of Butterfly Boucher intoxicated me. On the second and third playing of scary fragile I was hooked. This is a beautiful recording highlighting the dreamy vocals of Ms. Boucher. This is dream pop taking one on a marvelous journey. Shut the lights off, close your eyes, and enjoy the ride. This is a musical journey not to be missed.”
