“details”

“FYI on the background of this song.
The voice in the background is of Ansel Adams. It was an interview with the BBC done late in his life.
The song is called "details" because of his preoccupation with photographing the intimate details of nature and how that preoccupation led to some of the best photographic art ever. Read the following quote from him regarding the topic of art:
"I have often thought that if photography were difficult in the true sense of the term -- meaning that the creation of a simple photograph would entail as much time and effort as the production of a good watercolor or etching -- there would be a vast improvement in total output. The sheer ease with which we can produce a superficial image often leads to creative disaster." How true, no?
I used that quote as the basis for the song. I think, often too much sadly, that music today falls into the trap Ansel was describing above.
Thank God for amiestreet!”
