What is a Rec?
Writing a RECommendation is your way of sharing a song you really believe in with the whole community. You get RECs each time you purchase credit on Amie Street and you can use them to earn free credit. Whenever a song you have RECd goes up in price, you earn free credit.
Street Cred
Street Cred is the amount of credit a member has earned from his or her RECs. If you REC a song when it is free, and it goes up to 98 cents, you get 98 cents of credit for that REC!

Sung without a net. An amazing vocal performance on a triple shot of pure adrenaline.

I fell in love with Lisa when this song was popular. She rocks!! The purple tape album is amazing. Good lyrics and music.

Will's voice draws out the agony at knowing you have to do something you know is right, but still is not easy. The music is a perfect match for the subject matter, and the song stays with you days later.

All of the Rambling Bones music is awesome. This is one of my favorites from their album though.

I'm about to commit an outrageous blasphemy and say I think Johnny Cash is a great songwriter but the boom-chick-a-boom thing gets a bit tired after a while. I haven't heard the original, can't make comparisons to that, but I really like the cover, this track's slow and thoughtful and acoustic, very much the bleak and introspective blues/folk Cash, not the yeehaw country one. And best of all not a boom-chick-a-boom in sight :)
