From Clara Rockmore's 1977 album, The Art of the Theremin. Rockmore is considered to be the greatest theremin player of all time, performing classical works on the instrument. A pitch-perfect, classically-trained virtuoso, Rockmore made the theremin sound almost human in voice. This beautifully eerie rendition of Tchaikovsky's Valse Sentimentale is a great introduction.
