“I love the instrumentals on this song and how it builds. The lyrics are a little repetitive and don't quite match up to the excellence of the backing music, but it's a good song nonetheless. When the "I am the keeper of the farm" repeats let off and the instrumentals take over, that's when the song really takes off.”

“Another wonderful, melancholy, acoustic track.”

“Sweet and catchy little love tune - The lyrics sing of a playful, but sincere pleading to a loved one to cheer up and enjoy life, of a patient waiting and a promise of faithfulness. Oh, and did I mention it's a catchy tune?”

“If you like Nanci Griffith, esp. her MCA years, chances are good you'll like Wil Maring. It's not just her voice sounding like Nanci's (most esp. on this track), but the whole feel of the song I found reminiscent of Nanci Griffith's "Little Love Affairs"”

“"Another soft, sweet bluegrassy-folk song from Wil. Very pretty!"”

“The shortest, sweetest of the collection. "What can I say to you". "What can I do to make you smile". When the strings come together to follow the refrain, it's assured.”
sillymamma Rec'd this on Jun 8, 2007:
Street Cred: 700 Rec's: 17
“This is a simple, happy, cheerful song with a great refrain. "What can I do to make you smile?" This song makes me smile.”
