“You just wait. You just wait for that bass to kick in. You thought it was going good, with the piano, and all. A beautiful rendition of a previously "kinda harsh" debut. But after the rock of the bass line sets in, about halfway through, you get strings. Not only do we have violins, but we have cellos. And vibrato. And REALLY making these instruments sing. All along, accompanied by bittersweet soulful lyrics, with confidence bursting from behind his teeth.
