“This post rock, experimental stuff is not for everyone, not always for me, but this is a good example of it done well, showing the genre's freeform jazz roots and having understandable vocals.”

“While the entire album is solid, "What if those heavy things cracked their little brittle bones to the marrow?" sets its claws into you and won't let go. Destructive and bluesy, the arrangement seems to respond to the masterful lyrics by Alison Conard and pushes them right to the edge. ”

“More of a 'rec' for the entire album, voodoo economic's second release is refreshing. Requiring multiple listens to appreciate, the layers of 'if : then :: iminami' continue to unfold and seem to propagate. I am not sure I am bold enough to compare them to Radiohead but....”
