“This song has a feel of raggae to it. As with a lot of Tristan's songs, this upbeat, happy sounding song has some real life, dark lyrics. Maybe that is his mastery, making things not as bad as it sounds. ”

“The Lyrics for the song 'Time' : Please say you'll give me another chance I promise ill prove myself when I rectify my society. They say they'll keep on feeding me just as long as I can breathe its all peaches and ice-cream. I got my most depressing message in the bottom of my bottle just a black label man-sized can not cry. It was speaking in tongues to me planning on breaking me hope tomorrow doesn't hurt like today. Cause its a mater of time, it's just a matter of time before they gonna tell another lie to you. She got me rolling out the red carpet and though i try I can't stop it sleeping on the midnight train. I got my dirty feet for fee, I was walking in a dream on the ashes of your high sobriety. And then im thinking out loud about all those toys that make you proud and I can tell that you don't think of me. I saw your writing on the walls just before I heard cat calls; she say is there no other way. Oh no. Although she's such a pretty thing she's living in sin, but she don't play this game to win. Such an unnerving sight to see, bet that you wouldn't believe in me now I just heard the fat lady sing. Sing … I see you heading off the wrong way just after the break of day and though I tried you don't want to play. Oh is it such a big surprise your attracting all these flies is it so hard to do those things that you say. Lord. And no its really not that bright you're drunk driving without lights and two dead eyes when it comes back to you. When more than half the world is blue what can a poor boy do just to play in a band or two. I've got to get this message through past the monkeys in the zoo, will you distract them while I fly to the moon. And then well place out fates in the hands of a man who lives upstairs and wait to see if he really cares. No. ”
