“One of the best songs on this solid album. I know their drummer is a girl - is it her singing the counterpoint in the later verses? If so, she should be brought in to even more of their songs. The vocals on this song are stellar and confusing and wonderful. As with their other songs, there are a variety of sounds, and the song changes gently but effectively throughout. It's fun, but it isn't weightless or meaningless. I'm looking forward to more from this band.”

“This band's vocals teeter on the verge of too cloyingly poppy - in the same way The Juliana Theory sometimes threatens - but they never go too far in that direction. This song especially has a great vocal line, with harmony/timbre that reminds me of Abandoned Pools in the best way. Light song with a great hook. The song says, "You won't even know what hits you at all." It's true. "I promise I'll be brave." It asks a tough question and braces for the answer. "Would you miss me, if I went away?"”

“Starts unassumingly, then drops in a huge, wordless chorus that gets me every time. This whole album gets stuck in my head, but the feeling of the "spark ignites the air" is a standout.”
