About Music From The Dingle Peninsula And Beyond

This album was designed to capture the true spirit of Dingle and the Dingle peninsula for anyone who has visited the amazing area in Ireland or for any fan of Irish music, to enjoy music of World class musicianship and production.

Tim Edey is a name well known in Ireland, Uk and Europe and increasingly the Usa from his work with the hugely popular band Lunasa with whom he was a member 2004-2005 and recorded/arranged on the Compass records 2006 release "Se".

Tim has recorded four solo albums and has worked on tour and/or in the studio/Tv with most of Celtic and Irish music's biggest stars including;
Sharon Shannon, Michael McGoldrick, Steve Cooney, Seamus Begley, Mary Black, Altan, Capercaillie members Donald Shaw and Charlie McKerron, Lunasa, Flook, Session A9, Frankie Gavin, Cora+Breda Smyth, Magic of the Dance, Canadian star Ron Korb, Steafan Hannigan, Uk roots band Baka beyond and many more.

He plays more than ten instruments to a virtusoso standard, has toured in more than fifteen countries, has an original composition on Sharon Shannon's huge selling worldwide release "The Sharon Shannon collection" released in 2005, and is also a much in demand composer and producer.
