Me and You has a similar smoky, late barroom feel that morphs into a head-pounding, goose-bump-generating finale that elevates it to near Janis Joplin proportions. Classic.”

HOwever if I had a girlfriend, I'd sure would love to have her singing this to me. ;) I haven't heard many artists like her, but the closest I could come up with was Sixpence None the Richer although she doesn't sound that much like Leah Nash.
