About Meet... The Relatives

craft catchy, hook-laden pop songs, but rock them hard and play them with a swagger, all delivered with a sonic punch from a rhythm section that takes no prisoners.

OC Weekly hailed The Relatives as "gooey power pop with a dangerous garage-rock edge." Based out of Orange County where such bands as No Doubt, Stone Temple Pilots, Lit and Sugar Ray blossomed from. The Relatives have been Mesmerizing crowds with their incredibly tight and energetic sets, The Relatives have been making their presence known and unforgotten to club goers throughout California.

The Relatives are Dennis LeBlanc, Jason Arthur and Chris Cyga. Dennis and Jason formed the band early in 1997 and have spent their time together honing their songwriting skills finding a natural feel for fun three minute pop gems with a ragged intensity the likes of Foo Fighters and Ash. Dennis and Jason are not newcomers to the music scene. Both have had their share of success in punk bands, but now find a much happier home pounding out pop hits.

"Meet.. The Relatives" the bands first CD release. The Relatives are also featured on OC Weekly's high-profile CD compellation, "Focus Grouped To Death", along with Orange County's finest bands. The band has been featured on the Outdoor Life Networks extreme skiing show, "Freestyle Frenzy" including recording the shows theme and much of the 2000 -2002 season soundtrack.
