About Who Will Cut Your Grass When I'm Gone?

Nathan Moes is the Magician. Making pop music, with a foot in the past, and an eye for the future, and a body resting in the present, usually upon a piano bench. The Fall of 2008 saw the release of The Magician's debut EP, seven songs of pure pop. Pop in the veins of AC Newman and The New Pornographers, of The Unicorns, of Royal Wood. Melancholic, Bombastic, always Fantastic.

From ChippedHip.com: "The EP’s seven songs are packed with indelible pop hooks and witty, captivating lyrics...NJ V. NJM features a fuzzy bassline working around an ominous minor key progression, its blippy keyboards shedding light on the titular Unicorns reference"

It's modern pop, with ears for the past. Heavy Reverb, Layered Harmonies, a Focus on Melody. It's Pop!

“Quirky keyboard pop. I love the slow, mellow reggae-style beat that drives this particular song along. Definitely not to be missed.”

“Fun and creative- totally digging the carnival feel to it. It's somewhat trippy.”
