“Some awesome fast fiddling bluegrass. I hadn't heard of the Lovell Sisters before, but I am going to go check out the rest of their act.”

“Why are women always attracted to guys that have strained relations with the law? Paulita's no different... Billy is on the run and Paulita waits anxiously for word of him, and fears the worse. It's got a catchy, rhythmic chorus you can't resist singing along with. Is there a bad song on this album?”

“Saw mcangeli's "bluegrass at its best" review, gave it a listen, and turns out he's right.”

“This song is quickly becoming one of my favorites on the album. Could easily give allison krauss a run for her money!”

“Wow! Each time I listen to this, the name Karen Carpenter comes to mind. It's the type of tune I think she would of sung, and I think the lead singer (sorry don't know her name yet) definitly invokes Karen's aura here.
I believe the song is actually by country legend Don Williams, and it has every bit of the simple, country elegance you would expect. Love it! ”

“I always dug the instrumental stuff on Alison K and Union Station's albums. The Lovell Sisters prove they've got the instrumental chops too on this great song. Cool stuff!”

“Nice female vocals with spirit. I like the lyrics and the musicality of the singing. What makes this is, of course, the interplay of the strings. Guitar, Mandolin (?). Interesting arrangements that are melodic enough to be soothing yet dissonant enough to maintain interest. Rather academic but I like almost every song on here!”

“WOW! Talk about BlueGrass at its best. These girls absolutely Rock! Ichetucknee Chutney is probably one of the best bluegrass tunes I've heard in a while.”

“OK - I love songs that break from the normal forms. This one does. There's no chorus, no verses - it just puts you in the moment; pure inner voice and emotion. Imagine yourself on a city street at night, trying to cool down after you've just had a huge argument with your significant other. "Ok, ok what am I going to do? It'd be easy to leave but...what'll I miss?" In the musical accompaniment near the end you can actually visualize the gal climbing the stairs back up to her apartment to confront her beau, full of determination and hope. A complex story in just a few words. Far less than my rambling recommendation! ”
