“Why are women always attracted to guys that have strained relations with the law? Paulita's no different... Billy is on the run and Paulita waits anxiously for word of him, and fears the worse. It's got a catchy, rhythmic chorus you can't resist singing along with. Is there a bad song on this album?”

“OK - I love songs that break from the normal forms. This one does. There's no chorus, no verses - it just puts you in the moment; pure inner voice and emotion. Imagine yourself on a city street at night, trying to cool down after you've just had a huge argument with your significant other. "Ok, ok what am I going to do? It'd be easy to leave but...what'll I miss?" In the musical accompaniment near the end you can actually visualize the gal climbing the stairs back up to her apartment to confront her beau, full of determination and hope. A complex story in just a few words. Far less than my rambling recommendation! ”

“Wow! Each time I listen to this, the name Karen Carpenter comes to mind. It's the type of tune I think she would of sung, and I think the lead singer (sorry don't know her name yet) definitly invokes Karen's aura here.
I believe the song is actually by country legend Don Williams, and it has every bit of the simple, country elegance you would expect. Love it! ”
