About Mastering The Buddy System

the gifted children (buffalo, ny)

the gifted children is a collective of musicians from western new york.

they've been writing with monomanical fervor in complete obscurity for the past 12 years, recording more than 1000 songs. they are now ready to share...

the gifted childen live show is a mixture of pop songwriting genius, expert knob-twiddling, self-flagellation, drunken banter and ridiculous dancing. approachable, self-deprecating and pedestal-hating, they become fast friends with their audiences.

they play short, compelling, slightly cryptic, off-kilter indie rock songs laced with some shoegazer atmospherics.

lyrical content is slightly obtuse and vivid.

the gifted children : f* pretentious indie rock.
