“Potentially the best song on "Samantha's Big Day" despite the fact that its an instrumental. Here, distorted shoegazer-y guitars provide a backdrop for a funky, slightly-askew electronic soundscape. One of my faves on Amie Street!”

“"Samantha's Big Day" is a breath of fresh air in its sincerity and its interesting progression from lo-fi indie rock to NES-style basic electronic. This track is transitional, and as such nicely represents the style of the record as a whole. Fans of abrasive noise will enjoy the electronic breakdown when the song's approaching 3 minutes. ”

“This song goes against everything in my music tastes, but I still couldn't resist it. It started out slow and awkward and I skipped it the first time. But something drew me back in. It was the awkwardness that was different and sold me on the song. I listened to it once, twice, three times. It's genius! About half way through the noise becomes the signal and what started off as slow and awkward song becomes an awesome melodic journey!”
