“The guitars/organ/percussion (shakers 'n' all!) backdrop and lush vocalization calls to mind early-70s California post-folkies like the Mamas And Papas and The Byrds, but Burgess' Britishness keeps this in the realm of experimental Britpop. Listen for the fantastic Bee Gees inspired bass line and the too-short (but extremely well-placed) guitar solos.”
