“The opening organ riff is straight out of the Jon Lord (Deep Purple) playbook. In fact, the whole song has a kind-of Deep Purple vibe, with its half bluesy/half prog-rock guitar lead dazzling, dancing, soaring.... An amazing instrumental.”

“Psychedelic, for sure, but also fairly restrained. The song builds up for awhile, starts to take off during a nice prog-rock style guitar solo, then lazily drifts back to where it started. A gem of an idea that seems less-than-fully developed. That's not to say I don't like it--I do--but I'd love to hear what they COULD HAVE done with a little more work on it.”

“The ultimate Charlatans song? I hear this song (in my mind, at least!) all the time, as the perfect soundtrack to many moments, both real and imagined. Oasis may already have formed, but THIS SONG seems to be more responsible for their burst of popularity than their love of The Beatles. A perfect pop song, and no mistake.”
