About The Amber Room

Dark eighties new wave at it's best.

Officially formed in mid-2005, The Amber Room has begun to develop a name for themselves in this world of dark love and despair. Boasting a sound in the vein of Joy Division, The Cure and The Chameleons UK. The bands love of dark new wave music helped reinvented themselves with the recently acclaimed release of their debut EP in 2006. The 5 songs on the self-titled album [SECRETS, ODESSA, NO EXPRESSION, CORRIDORS and ECHOES] each have a unique direction with a common dark thread; a sense of urgency. This, coupled with a dark and driving live show displays the band's overall determination and relentlessness. This Band is destined to be big news in the world of music lovers of today along side Interpol and Editors.

Currently, The Amber Room are in the process of writing for their new up-coming album in hopes of a fall/winter release of 2007. The band are currently playing dates in support of the self titled EP and testing out the new songs like "Romancing the Dark" and "Mess of a Boy".

Shawn Tucker (Vocals/Guitar)
Paul Anderson (Guitar/Backing Vocals)
Shaun Savard (Bass)
Roy Daley (Drums)

Difference is what sets you apart. Respecting the past and the urgency of the future. Understand your competition. Understand your friends. Resentment and bitterness is reality. Jealousy becomes success. We hate it when our friends become successful. Starvation breeds inspiration.
