Our take
"Produced by Dave Fridmann (who works with The Flaming Lips), this has a big, psychedelic sound that's grounded by Josh Grier's country-tinged voice."– Amie Street Editors

“i'm going to go out on a limb and say that this is what the blood brothers would have sounded like if they'd figured out how to be accessible. great song. ”

“Don't just have "Faith" that this song is good...you can take my word for it!”

“can't shake the feeling that tapes n' tapes has appropriated a sound of long ago and made it weirdly relevant to today. helps that the vocals are distorted to a distance. makes it feel like they're dancing around in some other universe. anyways enough. ditto to the folks that say this might be best the song off their new album.
(oddly enough this has a bit of vampire weekend in it but that might just be because it's a sound that's in people's ears these days?)”

“The first single off the first big album of 08!”

“This song is full of energy and rythym changes. I think this is probably the best "new" and experimental song on this album.”

“Here's the energy I was looking for... similar to the Cowbell single on their first cd, just a little less angry. The constant drumming just keeps you moving and the vocals are incredibly soothing, even though they have a Clap your hands-tone in them. ”
