“Not as good as Axl, but still worlds better than Sheryl”

“Phenomenal cover, featured in the Last House in The Left trailer... Great singer.”

“way better than Axles from a musical point of view. Not the dramatic theatrical rendition he did. A very pretty song”

“sweet guns n' roses cover - pretty much the opposite of the original”

“A very different take on this now classic rock song.”

“A hushed, uh...pretty version of the Guns N Roses classic. If Guns had done it this way, it probably wouldn't have been a hit. But this is good. Nice.”

“Just as The Concretes looked like they were going to get big, lead singer Victoria Bergsman left them behind her to record as Taken by Trees. Hers was the sweet voice playing opposite the male singer in the super-catchy "Young Folks" single by Peter, Bjorn, and John. This Swedish singer turned her melancholy voice towards an unexpected cover of "Sweet Child O' Mine" by Guns 'N Roses, prettying up the melody of the original and making it sound like something Belle & Sebastian might perform. It's some serious musical alchemy and the result is pure gold.”
