About Codetalkers

The trio's second album of cinematic all-instrumental dreamscape fusion of prog-rock, space-rock, world-beat, electronica, dark-ambient and avant-garde styles. For fans of Tangerine Dream, King Crimson, Synergy, Jade Warrior, Radiohead, David Torn, Porcupine Tree, Mike Oldfield, Harold Budd, Ozric Tentacles, Eno. Very old-school in the use of vintage keyboards (including genuine analog-tape Mellotron M400), but the production and compositions make this very much a 21st century album. All tunes are by the core trio of Greg Amov, Steven Davies-Morris and Mike Dickson. Guests include Dun Strummin and Cyndee Lee Rule. The album has 9 tracks and is 75 minutes long. On the CD version of the album, tracks 1-3, 4-6 and 7-9 all cross-fade to re-create the 'side-long' 70s LP listening experience. The VBR MP3s have been prepared from the master WAV files so there is no cross-fading from one track to the next.
