“beautiful minimalist music - pretty easy to get lost in this kind of stuff”

“Reich may be the last of the great minimalists to stay with the format. Where Philip Glass has gone more operatic and Terry Riley drifted into Eastern smoothness, Reich has, if anything, gone full circle back to his minimalist roots. This album will be hard to take for some--it goes somewhere but does so slowly and incrementally, especially this first track. But those who thrived on Riley's "In C" and Reich's own earlier works will find it well worth their time.”

“Not the least bit embarrassed that I discovered Steve Reich through So You Think You Can Dance. I love this, can listen to it 5-6 times in a row.”
