I sleep. I dream. I wake and live. I am. I will. I create. I destroy and remake.

I make this music as an expression of my being and the world around me in which I am manifest. It is not bound by genre nor trend. It is what it is.

I believe in strength, honor, fidelity and enjoyment. I thrive on music, the pulse of the universe.

Started in 2001, this project began as a side-project to continue the sound my band with Spanky Payne, Morpheus, had branched away from. Nine(9) established itself as the continuation, exploration and furthering of that core, original Morpheus sound. With the first release Perverse Maleficia (2002, DigitaLucifer.Net), the lo-fi exploration of shadow, disgust, despair and misanthropia manifested as a collection of sounds, beats and processed vocals to die by.

Through the following years, my music explored a darkened folk branch, classic industrial synthing, electronically beaten blackened death metal, and so much more. The project had been redubbed XV1 for the first three releases, the nine(9) project for the following three (including the infamous split album with Arizona anti-goth artist D-Lux) and as Skot for ANTITHESIS (2007, DigitaLucifer.Net), Scripture (2008, DigitaLucifer.Net) and the upcoming ep's Dark Current, Posthumanity (2009, NightWave Media) and Desolate (2010, NightWave Media).
