About Jack In, Log On, Nod Out
SimStim is the brainchild of Brian Mars (LA Club Promoter, Scenester Extraordinaire) and D "Chim Chim" Madden (Penal Colony, Ex-Voto, Kommunity FK). Formed originally in Los Angeles in '92, the duo eventually relocated to Portland, Oregon in the late 90's and reformed, playing many live PA sets in Portland and Seattle to rabid fans, and released "Jack In, Log On, Nod Out" originally as a CD-R in 2000. The new and improved "Jack In, Log On, Nod Out" was re-packaged, re-mastered, and re-released in 2006. As of this writing, a music video for the track "Ghosts And Empties" is in the works, directed and edited by Grey Madden (Son of D). Be on the lookout for it on MySpace and YouTube!!!Websites:
